WATSON HALL
103 Maple Street South, Northfield, Minnesota 55057
Watson Hall is a traditional residence hall with seven stories, making it the tallest building on campus. While this is a mixed community which houses all class years, Watson tends to house more upper-class students given its high percentage of available single occupancy rooms. The open lounges are popular places to hang out, and its unique quadrangle-style hallways are sure to generate some exciting in-hall games.
Watson has a large lobby lounge which overlooks Carleton’s Japanese Garden and Cowling Gymnasium. There is also a large basement space with areas for students to relax or play a game of foosball or ping pong. It is located just blocks away from a trailhead into Carleton’s natural lands, the Cowling Arboretum.
